Senior Tennis
Ratoath Tennis Club have an active program for senior players run throughout the year which includes:
- Group Coaching for all levels of player abilities from adult beginners to advanced players
- Squad Coaching Session for Leagues
- Regular in-house Tournaments and Championships for all levels of ability
- Player ladders for men’s, ladies, singles and doubles
- Mixed Tournaments and Competitions with fun and Social events organized throughout the year
- Weekly Social Tennis Night year round
Our weekly Social Tennis Night is held on Thursdays between 7:30pm and 9:30pm (weather permitting). Non-members are also welcome to try before they join and can come down for our Social Tennis Night up to 3 times. After that we look for participants to join the club membership.
For players looking to participate in more competitive tennis, Ratoath Tennis Club field several teams in all the DLTC leagues throughout the year. We also hope to be part of an up and coming North Leinster League.
In June of this year 2019, the Club will host it’s first ever Ratoath Open Tournament. An open tennis tournament sanctioned by Tennis Ireland which will run for a full week with up to 80 players competing in more than 8 player categories.
We think there is something for everyone at Ratoath Tennis Club. We have active social media groups for all abilities that organize their own weekly matches, informal games, daytime matches and even their own friendlies with other local clubs. It’s also a great fun way to stay in shape. Our synthetic grass carpet is easier on the knees and joints than hard surfaces other sports are played on so why not…..come down and give tennis a go…
