News Update 18/08/2016

Hi everyone,

Just a mid month news update for everyone on the club and a request for votes!

# CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MIXED TEAM:
===================================
Congratulations to our Class 1 Mixed League team who beat Celbridge 1 in the finals last week in Deerpark Tennis Club. We are very proud of them. Well done everyone.

# WE NEED YOUR VOTES:
==============================
The Olive McCann Inspirational Award will be awarded on the 10th September to the member you decide deserves this prestigious trophy.

We ask that members cast their vote by emailing the committee at contactus@ratoathtennisclub.ie or by giving a committee member your vote in a sealed envelope. Just give us their name and a few words why they should win.

This award is special. It’s a legacy to a special lady Olive. She was inspirational and therefore we want the members to vote annually for someone in the club who you admire, the person who encourages and inspires you.

For Juniors – The junior committee will also have their own trophy to award to a deserving junior member.

VOTES NEEDS TO BE IN BEFORE THE 3RD SEPTEMBER
# CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS FEES DUE:
=============================

Just a reminder to everyone who still has to pay their club championship fees to do so before their next match.
It’s important to have the money in early as this is used to fund the prizes.
You can give the money to any club member. There is also a fun competition this Sunday so you can drop down and pay the money as well if you like. Thanks in advance and best of luck to everyone.
Match Schedules:
——————-
Please make sure to check your match schedules. As it gets closer to finals day the time will quickly run away on you. There are still some matches that are a little behind.
